State has huge demographic dividend, 56% of its 240 million population is under working age group. Complementing this advantage are the various Government initiatives to enhance the employability of the citizens of the state viz. –

• In order to facilitate continuous labour supply to industries, the State Government has created a Workers’ Employment Commission (Sewayojan evam Rozgar) with two separate boards at State and district levels.
• The State Government has also launched an Employment Mission that focuses on skill mapping & grading while creating a bridge between industry & labour.
• A ‘Sampoorna Shiksha portal’ to access all education related information & avenues. It will link the education institute, rozgar junction portal and students.
• The Sewa Mitra App www.sewamitra.up.gov.in launched creates an active interface between public & private employers and labour.
